 DESIGNED TO REDUCE ABRASIVE WEAR ON ROUGH ROADS
 
  • Combines proven tread design with the latest tested technical improvements.
     
  • New low abrasion tread compound to last longer on outback and gravel roads.
     
  • Bevelled tread edges, reduces the normal uneven wear seen on some other brands using square or sharp edges.
         
  • Longitudinal sipes, (or tiny cuts in the tread blocks) - other brands have sipes across the tyre causing rapid wear and chipping on outback dirt roads. Placing the sipes longitudinally around the tyre reduces chipping and increases the tread life.
DEEPER TREAD, FOR MORE KILOMETRES AND MORE GRIP
  •  The Cooper S/T has approximately 10% more tread than other  brands of All Terrain tyres. This means more grip, and more  kilometres for your dollar.
EXTRA TRACTION WITHOUT EXTRA NOISE
  • Sharp tread edges, for high-speed dirt road stability (Bevelled to wear evenly and reduce noise).
  • Scalloped alternate tread blocks on the shoulders increase traction in soft and muddy conditions.
  • Deep shoulder sidewall grooves create a side biter action for climbing out of ruts.
DESIGNED TO REDUCE OUTBACK DIRT ROAD, DAMAGE
  • Beveled shoulder tread blocks create protection for the sidewall and reduce the possibility of damage by deflecting stones and rocks.
  • Stone ejectors (tiny ribs) are built into the open shoulder lugs to spit small stones back out that get lodged in the tyre.
IMPROVED WET GRIP, ON AND OFF ROAD
  • All the tread blocks are spaced out more for better water dispersion as well as loose dirt and mud grip.
  • Y shaped tread blocks prove to be superior to older tread block shapes for added traction offroad.
  • Large open centre tread groove, to improve water dispersion and self-cleaning.
